The Reasons Why Men Should Pray In The Mosque
You a man? You should read this paper to complete. Are you a woman? You should also read this article to share with the man you care about.
As a person who embraced Islam then it is appropriate that we make the Qur'an and Hadith of the Prophet as a guide of our lives, as a regulator of every trace step and every breath in our lives.
One of the great Shari'ah that is obliged to every Moslem is Prayer. I'm sure you do it every day. I am sure, you know that prayer is included Pillars of Islam. But did you know that for every Muslim man who does not have udzur syar'i prayer 5 time is required to be done in congregation in the mosque?
The Theory of the Qur'an Concerning the Mandatory Prayer in the Mosque for the Moslem Clan
"And establish prayer, make alms zakat and bow with the people who bow." (Surat al-Baqarah: 43)
The verse shows the command to perform the prayers with the people who perform the prayers that is by congregation in the mosque.
Hadith-Hadith Concerning the Mandatory Prayer in the Mosque for the Moslem Hours
Let us refer to the Prophetic traditions on this subject.
Hadith 1:
From Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him), he said, Had come to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam a blind man, then he said,' O Messenger of Allah, I have no man who can lead me to the mosque, then he asked the Messenger of Allaahu 'alaihi wa sallam in order to be given lightness and enough prayers at his home. ' Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam gave waivers to him. When he turned to go home, he called him, saying, 'Did you hear the call to prayer?', He replied, 'Yes.' He said, 'Then you shall fulfill (the call)'. (Muslim)
In the hadith, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam still ordered a blind man who did not have a guide to keep praying in congregation in the mosque. So what about us who can still see clearly? Of course more required again.
Hadith 2:
"I once intend to order the prayer to be established and then I will command one of them to lead the prayer, then I with some people carrying some wooden ties to the people who are not present in the prayer congregation, and I will burn their houses . "(Muttafaq 'alaih)
In the hadith above the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam threatened firmly will burn the houses of people who do not attend prayers congregation. Then the harsh threat of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam is indicating mandatory prayer in congregation mosque for a man.
Hadith 3:
From Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said, 'Whoever hears the call to prayer but does not come to him, then there is no prayer for him, except for udzur (justified in religion)'. (Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah and others, saheeh hadeeth)
In the hadith the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said "there is no prayer for him", this shows the obligation to meet the call to prayer for every man who heard it, that is by visiting the mosque to pray congregation.
