NCT's Baby Don't Stop - Review
NCT were full on assault mode for the past month with song after song and music video after music video for their 2018 album, Empathy. And boy was this song absolutely disrespectful! How dare they look so amazing and sound like smooth chocolate-y silk? (I'm looking at you Ten!) And Taeyong whispering should be illegal because, my god he looks amazing.
NCT is a South Korean boy group, where NCT stands for the Hallyu localization project Neo Culture Technology, and has an unlimited amount of numbers (the concept is confusing but if you don't focus too much on it then you will be fine). The track Baby Don't Stop was released under the sub-section NCT U, but has only two members of the group in it.
In the music video, both of them flow together with their smooth dance moves and great chemistry. Dressed in awesome outfits (in one scene they literally have no shirt on, just a blazer) you can appreciate their godly good looks accompanied by their amazing voices. I find that Taeyong and Ten's voices compliment each other perfectly with Taeyong's being rough and deep while Ten has a smooth as butter voice.
The song is a minimalistic dance song with a lush art house tune featuring a powerful, stark bass beat. While Taeyong is rapping for most of the song and Ten is singing, there is one part where Taeyong blesses us with his own sweet vocals. Overall, it was amazing and they look and sound like art!
Hello, step to greet, to follow you and to invite you to see my work if not too much trouble
