AOA - "Bingle Bangle" (Review)

South Korean girl group, AOA, released their summer bop and it is climbing the charts higher and higher while the addictive song hooks listeners everywhere. Known for their sexy concepts, this saccharine pop track infused with folksy instrumentals and a whistling melody accompanying the playful music video is surely a new direction for them.

The music video shows one member, Mina, control the rest using a Nintendo Cube game console to serve pixels in a diner that seems from the 70's. Their outfits also seem to belong from that time that show off the retro styles in bright colours. In the beginning I was not really into their cute concept and lyrics, but that song infected my brain like a virus and the simple choreography is easy to follow and replicate.
