Tomorrow
TOMORROW
You think you will have more time.
Time to tell the people you love how much they mean to you.
You believe that tomorrow you will have time to appreciate moments more.
You say, they will always be here to speak their voice into my ear.
To place their hands in mine.
Time spent away.
Goes so fast.
You tell yourself “there's always tomorrow”.
What happens when tomorrow is one day too many?
What happens when years go by, and you were one day too late?
Our bodies are not forever.
Moments and memories are not guaranteed.
If you have something to say to someone.
Say it today.
Show them today.
Seconds you took for granted.
Might be the moments you would give your life for tomorrow.
Don’t wait until tomorrow is only wished for.
You have now.
You have today.
It’s not too late to make things right.
It’s not too late to say “I love you”.
It’s not too late to drop your guard and let someone in.
It’s only too late when tomorrow escapes you.
Don’t wait until you find yourself chasing tomorrow.
It’s already yours.
"The more reflective you are,
the more effective you are."
Before going to bed or drifting into a sleep what is the last thought on your mind?
Do you plan for the next day?
Do you give a thought how was your day today?
Could it have been better?
The day went very well. You received an appreciation from boss. Or may be, you made a cake for first time. Everybody liked it and you loved the smile it brought on their faces. What next? You think of doing more next time.
The day was okay. I could have given my presentation in another way. I need to work on it. There is always scope for improvement.
We must reflect on the activities of a day and try to improvise ourselves.
We are our biggest critics.
We know our abilties.
The feedback verbal or through expressions of people also works as a guide for future.
Be open to change when required.
If we do not accept change, our growth is affected.
Reflect and take action accordingly.
