My vote is wothless too, LOL! I plan to put in a big enough system, to run AC and heat, so it will be a Monster! If It is too, big, I may sell some back to the power company.

I've looked at wind power, but I don't think solar would be the best for us here...as we are directly under the so-called "Great circle route" to Europe here in northern, Maine and we get constant heavy chemtrailing. Good luck with your project!
I plan to mix the two. That way, when wind is poor, I use solar, and on cloudy days I will have more wind. I will have a backup generator too; that I will try to run off of Brown Gas (HHO)
I am also looking at a magnetically powered generator base on gating technology. Here is a much more difficult design, but there are a number of designs using magnets for fuel.
Cool....love alternate energy stuff. You must be quite the handy guy. Unfortunately, I'm not.
I have been known to make a thing or two, LOL!
