Poverty and ecological crisis.
Some economic theories maintain that the only way to end poverty is to create more wealth. But this could only push our planet to the limit. Climate change and its effects are enough of a sign that this path is not the most convenient.
In the future, solution to poverty should not be based on producing more wealth but on distribute what already exists.
This situation heralds the debacle of the neoliberal policies of the "trickle-down" or "supply-side economics." Those postulated that business owners (producers) had to be favored to settle the problem of poverty.
