Positivity Breeds Positivity Challenge Day 5: Measure of Success- Catching on!
Good Morning Folks!
Are you doing anything positive today? Are you going to at least try?
Sometimes, we get discouraged when we put in so much effort into something and get so little back. No matter how hard we try, what we expect to get from our work just doesn't materialize.
How are you measuring your idea of success?
With this Positivity Breeds Positivity project, I can already count it a success.
Did I become famous from it?
No.
Did I make a lot of money from it?
No.
Did I somehow gain power from it?
No.
Then how can I call it a success?
One of the main points of this project is to spread positivity. My hometown of University City, in St. Louis, MO had somewhat of a bad reputation a few years ago. Sure, it's the home of The Loop and WashU is here, but many people would also tend to bring up shootings, violence, and gang activity. Instead of letting that negative image stick, someone decided to do something about it.
How can I call it a success?
More people are participating. She asked would #PositivtyBreedsPositivity be a slogan of the past. It has not died away and people are still spreading positivity because of it. Doris is a Facebook friend and I see that yesterday on Day 4 she posted her PbP post. It is spreading so I can call it a success.
Where are you from? What are you doing to spread a bit of positivity in your corner of the world?
I donated to the Go Fund Me page and posted the link on my Facebook page! I love the idea of this.
that's awesome! THANK YOU!
