A positive balance

heres something id like to do
send a little message from me to you,
to you from me, wherever we may be, or see, you see,
or just maybe, in a dream
walking along, or so it seems,
time.
i find little bits of it through the spaces between the lines.
as i look to find the rhyme
or perhaps a dime.
or maybe just about forty cents
it seems to be the only visible shrine left
the only thing left unkempt
as time moves on,
i sit still in silence and carry on
oh how it seems so long.
soon ill be twenty one,
but where is the fun ?
i dont like drake or the weekend...
i just need my guitar and something to believe in
a little ship crosses the shore
leaving treasures and so much more
i stop and stare, what a bore
so i look for more, and see a little whale
down the ocean past the sand and pails,
i wonder what he is doing here
after all, why would he reappear
maybe hes swimming and looking for more
maybe one day he'll come back to the shore.
im starting to see how it all needs to be balanced,
no matter the skill, emotions, or talents
we all need a perfect balance.
im learning how you're just a person just like me
so maybe one say we will all see
maybe one day we will find
the spaces in between the minds.
maybe one day,
when there is no sorrow, or tight tense,
we could all find
a positive
balance.
