Staring
An undergraduate student of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh is researching ancient manuscripts collected by the @pedir-museum. She was staring at a watermark on an ancient paper while college practicum.
Pedir Museum provides free access for Acehnese students interested in conducting research. Some of Pedir's museum collections are displayed at the @mapesa museum located at Punge Blang Cut, Banda Aceh.

This student was very lucky to touch such antiquities. When I was studying at art University, we were also shown old very rare books. I drew copies of the ornaments of the letters. Touching the story is a very exciting event!
Yup, the ancient books contain some important information about the state of the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam, as well as the art of illumination a manifestation of the expression of artwork.
This is an ancient manuscript collected by the @pedir-museum. Art like this is not inherited by the people of Aceh today.

This is a very interesting book, it is a pity that it can not be increased. It amazes me how beautiful were the ancient books, the real works of art.
