A Walk Through Ken Reid Conservation Area with Diego!

Two summers ago, a good friend of my girlfriend named Brooke asked me if Jess and I could come to a local conservation area and take photos of her and her lovable dog Diego. It was Brooke's mother's birthday that was approaching, and she wanted to frame and give her mother a photo of her and Diego to hang on the wall as a present. As the day played out though, it turned out to be a photoshoot for Brooke and Deigo, as well as for Brooke and Jess (sometimes with Diego). We had fun with it though, and had a lot of fun!

Ken Reid Conservation Area is a 272 acre piece of land that encompasses forested areas, as well as a marsh. It has many maintained trails that are good for hiking, running, and biking. You can even cross-country ski there in the winter! There is a large playground area for children by the lake, and a large off-leash dog park for dog owners to take their furry friends. This CA is located just North of Lindsay, and is maintained by the Kawartha Region Conservation Authority.

Diego was a good boy that day. He was very cooperative, except when he would run into the water when we got to the marsh! The bugs were bad, but the bites were well worth it.
