FRIENDLY SMILE AT OMAHA BEACH ---- FREUNDLICHES LÄCHELN AN OMAHA BEACH
This is my contribution today to #portraitphotography by @photocontests.
These joyfully laughing people (my wife and I) are here in a place, where there wasn't always something to laugh about. The photo was taken during our Whitsun holiday in 2016 in Normandy. We had visited some of the landing places back then. I think I remember that this shot was taken at Omaha beach, but I can't say for sure.

Diese freudig lachenden Menschen (meine Frau und ich) sind hier an einem Ort, wo es nicht immer zum Lachen zumute war. Das Foto entstand während unserem Pfingsturlaub 2016 in der Normandie. Wir hatten damals einige der Landungsplätze besucht. Ich glaube mich zu erinnern, dass diese Aufnahme an Omaha beach entstand, kann es aber nicht mit letzter Sicherheit sagen.

At Steemit you shouldn't ask for a "follow me." The comment section is intended to annotate the respective post. Say what you see and what you like or dislike. The author so becomes attentive to you and possibly takes a look at your blog and he might follow you anyway.
Requests such as "follow me back", "vote for me" etc on the other hand, are ignored at best, and flagged at worst.
