The one from @maeva is so cuteee! Really the best one!
Thank you once again @juliank to let me be part of the winners but also your fantastic work with the contests and your new bot!
My favorite are
Of course, those two are professional and I highly recommend to follow them!
But today, I see in your selection @karolips and since I saw this yesterday, I really like this one for its purpose although there is high potential to improve it (mainly focus and light managing) and if @karolips agree, I would be keen to make a post on it, quoting her name of course, to explain in details what could be done to go one step further!
Have a nice week-end all, I feel you have not finished with me :-D
Vincent
thank you @vincentleroy on the mention and congrats on your win too !
about professionality, as i understand this word and why i don't use it much.
i'm a photographer but not professional. i don't shoot for money (almost) i'm living from absolutely different doing. and if to say about professionality - there are a few portraits in this small collection taken with a studio light and done exactly like you said - on professional level. (i love this or don't it's a different theme)
Dear @victorbz I am exactly in the same position, professional level since years but another job above all! That let me choose what I want in photography and have let me try a lot of things in this fiels (analog as digital) :-) Have a nice week-end!
nice weekend to you too !
and what you explained is exactly what i love in my photography choices - to photograph only what i love !
Excellent insides, thanks for sharing
You are welcome my friend @juliank :-)
What I like about this account is that I only post twice a day. This allows for more discussion to take place. A place where photographers on Steemit can come together. Inspire and learn from each other.
While I am not responding to all of the messages at the moment I do read most. Doing a lot of work on the bot for now.
I see that with all our discussion! I'd like to suggest you a one more thing. I would be keen as often as possible to select one pic form your selection that is medium but with high potential and have a technical and artistic post on it to explain why it works, what does not work (in case) and all technical improvements that could be done! As an old but real photo curator in Paris, I will write in a friendly like mode. My purpose would be to share expertise as to help followers to improve their passion. Never negative or disgusting critics that never help! Feel free to revert as you could resteem it also as a bonus for your contests.
I like that idea.would love to have some of my pics reviewed if they get chosen. 👍
nice! then follow me I w am working at it in the week-end and I will revert :-)
already following ;)
I have nothing against this and I think this adds great value. However, I do not think this is up to me and should be something the author decides on.
As for resteems I would like to keep my blogs from get cluttered. I will also stop resteeming my own selections after Sunday. Transition week. However, what I do not mind, it upvoting a comment in this post to the top where you link to the article
of course, I need to get the full agreement of the author for the pic to be reviewed like I did this morning with @karolips. Success of such approach is mostly based on the confidence.
for sharing I clearly understand, and let see in the next days if some authors agree with it. I will make comment in this way in the next days to see if there is an interest in it and if some author agree to let me post on their photo :-)
Additionally you can create your own hashtag that people can use to signal that they want your perspective on their photos
There were some really amazing photos which included nudity. It is not that I am against nudity, it is just that I would like to refrain from using the NSFW tag. Do not stop posting though, just sharing my perspective
For this, you can also mention the pic with the link without the image and with a warning ;-)
This is something I can work with
good for them so! :-) Let me tell you I really like your way og thinking as a full open minded and your high capacity to adapt your line in real time :-)
Haha thanks, it make sense really. I do not have any problems with the photos, just that I want to keep the selections safe for work. Creating a placeholder with a link circumvents this issue. Great thinking, I did not think of it ;)
I understand and respect your position on nudity. Not everyone appreciates that and it is better to keep it out of a general portrait contest.
Since there were some really beautiful photos a separate category can also be an option. Will think about it. Just wanted everyone to know my perspective
The best solution is maybe to create a new category for nude. So you could present this only selection with the tag nsfw ;)
I agree, I had suggested
artisticnudephotography
as tag for that catergory.Behind the scenes by @victorbz
Wow didn't knew my photo got selected
I am a amateur photographer and i'm really happy to see my photo among these masterpiece
Thank you very much @juliank for creating such contest :)
It was my first contest and woohoo i won :v
Amazing photo really, well deserved
Thanks for including my photo :) I recognize several photographers in this post that I admire and I feel blessed to be among them. There are a few photos that I really like but if I had to choose one I'd choose "Theater of Mind" by @axeman for its originality.
You had multiple amazing entries, as did @axeman. To many, eventually I just picked one since I could not decide
Thanks for your kind words!
wow awesome photos! @aurumv and @axeman !!!
Excellent taste ;)
Wow, never expected to win! I did not even know about the contest untill I got the automated reply to my post haha. There are so many great photographs selected, I am surprised my photo is among them! Now that I know about the contest, I will sure try to join more often! Thank you :)
Good to hear the bot is doing it work and reaching people sharing their amazing photos. I think your photo is beautiful, the black background almost makes him disappear because of his dark suit. Yet, there is still this fine line
some excellent shots here.
I second that
Hi all and Congrats!!!! Many thanks to @juliank for the selection of "La Madone". They are so many good and exceptional picture. The portrait "behind the scene" by @victorbz is so intense. The mischief of the young boy by @maeva give me a smile :). I liked the complicity of @lostinhappiness : surrender with faith to the strength of his man
Thank you so much for the kind words about our photo! :)
