I just had. Never heard of the term and I have quite some experience with expirimenting with photography! Tnx for providing me with even more to play with!

There's always something to learn. But I wouldn't do this because you can get dirt on your sensor.
Yeah that's true, there probably will be clever tilt-shift adapters to use on my mirrorless camera. Would not want to toy around with getting a dirty sensor indeed!
