ACCIDENTAL SECOND POSTING SORRY Portrait Photography Contest Week 29 - Golden Hour
EDIT :- I'm very sorry, this is an accidental second post. I thought I was posting an edit update, but it was a window still open from yesterday and it created a second post. Please don't upvote here. If you like it the originalpost is next to this one on my blog, and of course you're more than welcome to upvote there. Thanks for being understanding. Martin
Hi steemians, this is an entry for Portrait Photography Contest Week 29 - Golden Hour organised by @jasonrussell.
I took this photograph at the famous Goose Fair in Nottingham. I'm usingg the technique of panning to keep the subjects of the portrait sharp in the centre of the shot, whilst everything else becomes a blur. It's not a standard right to left panning sweep here though, as the merrygoround horses also go up and down as well as around and around, so it was a right to left sweep but also manually tracking the horse sand its occupants up and down movements. After a few minutes of doing that you could almost feel seasick! 🤮
Please feel free to check out the camera settings beneath the photo.
I love the way this photograph captures two very important aspects of the essense of being human, the excitement of a brand new experience, and pure candid 'nurture' itself. I love to observe the intricacies of human interaction with their environment or amongst and with each other, and it's often what I am searching for when out with a camera........ which is everytime I go anywhere, quite literally.
