Article 370 : MHA issues advisory to states to ensure public order and protect Kashmiris across the country

A communique by the MHA has asked state governments to ensure that security forces and law enforcement agencies are prepared to "pre-empt or prevent any breach of security or public order."

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued an advisory to all States and Union Territories to ensure “peace and public harmony” is not disrupted and residents of Jammu and Kashmir living in other parts of the country are not harmed, after the government on Monday scrapped article 370 that provides special powers to Jammu and Kashmir.
