An open letter for YOU

Dear A,

It's been a long time since you take a look of yourself. How have you been? Do you feel good? Do you feel beautiful? Are you in love? Are you proud of who you have become?

I am your 40-year old self and I am proud of you, REALLY. You still have a long way to go. I, too, still have lot of things I need to learn and be excited for. Each step is important.

The road will be very bumpy but will lead you to where you should be. Be BRAVE. Be BOLD. Be PATIENT. Along the way you'll meet every type of individual. Some you will love and some you will hate. Both will teach you significant lessons in life. Deal with them accordingly.

Treasure people who love you. Prioritize them. Spend time with them while you and they still have. They will be the foundation of your virtues and success.

Understand the not-so good people. Your day maybe a little bad because of them but remember that they will test you to your limits. Every individual is facing different life battles and there could be a reason for their actions or attitudes. Remember to be good anyway.

Happy and sad moments will keep on happening. Be excited for both. Happiness will make you whole and complete. Enjoy every moment of bliss. Share with people whom you love the most. Melancholic occasions will make your heart and mind tough. It can even make you fall on your knees and go back to step one, but I am telling you be patient. Those moments are preparing you for the best that is yet to come. Trust the process.

If now you are worrying how your life will become, PRAY. Prayer changes things and can make miracles; moreso, MOVE. Get up and trust your instincts. It will lead you to where you should be.

Remember that people around you are instruments to your success. Every failure and success are teachers. Continue being and doing good but don't let people abuse you. Keep your values and don't you ever forget to LOVE. Love in every way that you can especially YOURSELF.
