Don't gamble with Bitconnect...
Im just gonna get to the point for those who tl;dr . If you want to find out more about how bitconnect is a scam, and also want a few good laughs, i recommend this:
This isnt my video. All credit goes to youtuber Doug Polk.
Why take a chance on an obvious ponzi scheme (err, multi level marketing), sink a minimum of 100$ to promote a bunk product, and further reduce the crypto community to the level of penny stock hopeful?
If you want to loan out your coin in a safe, secure and DIVERSIFIED manner, I strongly recommend the Poloniex Lending platform. This is a service that not only looks good, but functions even better. I couldn't be a bigger fanboy of this concept, and i want to make sure each and every person here is aware of it.
The good:
No multi-month contracts with your coin. You choose the length of time you wish to loan, and how much. (Minimum of 2 days per loan)
No $100 minimum deposit. You can choose $20 or $200,000. (Remember to consider transfer fees)
Ease of mind knowing its all controlled by the system, that you can physically see and interact with (unlike Bitconnects magical trading bot)
REAL returns that you can cash out immediately.
If you put in litecoin, you will recieve litecoin plus interest, not some I.O.U coin that could crash while you sleep...
The bad:
The interests rates aren't as high as Bitconnect advertises. I found that litecoin yields the highest at .01% per day. That number changes throughout the day, and can be as low as .001% or less.
Other coins have lower interests rates, and bitcoin itself has a higher minimum (.01 last this author checked)
At the end of the day, unless you have $500,000 or more invested, you wont be replacing your day job any time soon. Its not a get rich quick method. This is more of a way to take your HODL coin, invest it to make a little more, while its all accumulating value over time.

Remember that all crypto coins and the market itself could crash tomorrow. If you can't afford to lose it, then you shouldnt be investing it.
