RE: The Humans Are Waking Up

in #politics5 years ago

"Technology, which futurists have long heralded as the deus ex machina which will liberate humanity from its self-destructive ways, is owned by plutocrats with a vested interest in maintaining the status quo, and is pervasively infiltrated by murderous intelligence agencies from top to bottom."

Not technology, but Big Tech. Technology itself is simply physics asserted. More, technology is increasingly becoming DIY: decentralized, individually owned, means of production. This gives me great hope, as centralization of power is created via parasitization of all transactions, and DIY production of goods does not create a fraction of the transactions as purchasing goods from industrial production, and thus diminishes the power of oligarchs, and also increases the power of individuals versus institutions.

Technology always increases the power of individuals versus institutions, although it takes time for tech to develop and disseminate. Fortunately, the more advanced tech is the faster it develops and disseminates, and the more power it delivers to individuals versus institutions.

Most important of all, the improved economic and wealth generation potential of decentralized means of production create incentive for adoption by ordinary, unawake, selfish people. Mere economic benefit encourages the masses to undertake the destruction of global political hierarchies, and they don't have to memorize Mao, or Eckhardt Tolle, to learn why to do so intentionally. They just have to want less expensive bespoke, luxury goods and ordinary commodoties, like food that isn't dosed with glyphosate.

Lastly, 3D printing, aquaponics, CRISPR, and so forth, are already in the wild, and at gentle financial entry points for hobbyist level equipment. You can buy an entry level but usable 3D printer for the cost of lunch at a nice restaurant for a family, and buy a genetic engineering kit suitable to craft your own unique species on your kitchen table, complete with necessary instruction, for the cost of a romantic weekend at a hotel.

There seems to be little in the way of political mechanisms that can stop their development and adoption, and there is no sign that the enemedia are propagandizing against them, perhaps indicating they simply have no handle they can spin such tech with.

Thanks!
