Making a change

I think it is safe to say that most of us are not happy with the direction our self-proclaimed leaders are going in. There is plenty of evidence that our government, and the actions that it takes, has one small set of benefactors. It definetely does not have the benefit of the common person as a goal . Before you think I am a Democrat or Republican let me clear this up: Both parties have repeatedly thrown the American public under the bus, ran over us, and backed up - and for what? For all these pieces of paper that we have been convinced have value?
So the question is, what do we do now? Do we continue to pretend that one of the leaders, in one of the only 2 parties we get to pick from, will be our savior and finally fight for the people? Do you really believe that any of the clowns that have been in Washington will actually fight for you? There have been Democratic presidents that have had a Democratic Congress, no change there. There have been Republican presidents with a Republican Congress, no change there either. The only constant between either party is the 1% gets richer and the rest of us get a little or a lot poorer.
Before I share my ideas let me hear your comments, and let's begin the conversation to be, and make the change that only we can.
