Deals between India and Russia....BRICS

As part of BRICS summit ongoing, Russia oldest friend of India has invested largely in India with Prime minister Narendra Modi taking up some important defence as well as infrastructure deals.

Some of the negotiations that went through are

India is going to buy state of art air defence systems worth more than $5 billion.

$500 million investment into Indian infrastructure space.

Manufacturing of Russian helicopters in India under Make in India initiative.

Agreement on shipbuilding ans supplying nuclear reactors to India.

Most important discussion was against terrorism and their sponsors.

Modi is keen to engage all the leaders and bring them onto one platform against terrorism.
