Just in: "Dr" Makgabo Manamela is not a medical doctor after all - although she kinda can use the "Dr" bit because she has a PhD in psychiatric nursing. Methinks there is a time and a place to call yourself "doctor" - and the place is not as a manager in the department of Health - and the time is not now after she basically signed the death warrants of 143 unfortunate souls.
Wow. Just wow.
And yes, I agree with you on time and place! Hard to imagine the thought process that goes into the decision not to say Dr=PhD, not medical doctor, especially when the families of the victims are in the same room. A whole new level of Teflon. Just saying.
