Trump and Stormy who to believe?

I say an opinion piece on CNN saying that Stormy has been more honest about the situation than Trump. Let me start by saying that most people would not be shocked if you said anybody was more honest than a politician. So, saying that she is more honest than a politician is not saying much. Now that I have that whole politicians are lying, dirt bag, no good, scum and you can't trust any of them out of the way on to the bigger point. The author seems to be implying that because a person doesn't live what they consider to be a virtuous life style you can't trust them. This line of reasoning is a bunch of garbage. Everybody has things they do in life that other people would consider unvirtuous. If somebody had to be perfect before we could trust them, then we could trust nobody. So, rather than judging someone and saying "oh this person is a playboy bunny they are not a good person and we shouldn't trust them" we should look at people as individuals and see if they have given us a reason to trust them. I think trying to label people and put them into groups to generalize about them is intellectually lazy.

Having said all that I think this being a big news story is kind of silly. Trump's supporters don't care that he is a bad person and everyone else already knows it. Why is this news?
