I don't know about you but...
I did really well in History class and I was blown away by how they try to normalise all the atrocities of our ancestors. We should be ashamed of ourselves for not learning from our mistakes sooner. How many more need to die over who's imaginary friend is better before we snap out of it?
I don't believe people need a "god" to be a good person. If the only reason you don't do horrible stuff is the fear of god then you're not a good person. We should do good because it's the right thing to do, not because we fear some god or want to be in his or her good books.
People of the world, hear my cry!
We should be good to our fellows brothers and sisters of Earth because we're here to complete one another, not compete with each other.

STOPReligion and spirituality are two completely different things people seem to have a problem separating. Spirituality can ba a beautiful thing. Organised religions however are control mechanisms for the dumb down masses.
The fact that people still subscribe to them in an Age of Enlightenment never ceases to amaze me.
