It's a genuine insult to an American icon like John Wayne that you'd even try put any type of emphasis of a comparison. No mentally stable adult would enshrine a murderous thug in their hearts the same way as they would someone like John Wayne. That's just the problem there, way to many people in the middle east enshrining the epitome of evil. He wasn't viewed by the whole of the middle east as a hero either, there's been video's released that show people dancing in the streets in celebration of his death. This man has been let to walk around the middle east killing with impunity, with utter disregard to whom he was killing. This is a clear cut open example that a regime would allow him to basically run around and F'u to whomever he felt like is an indicator of a regime when it comes to following the Iran accord would behind close doors be saying F'them. Somewhere along the lines it had to stop, inviting them (which this guy was one who attended) into the white house as Obama did, standing right alongside Obama, Hillary and Joe Biden was pure appeasement, trying to make fine with a regime who history has repeatedly shown us has no intentions of stopping hating the US or any other western cultures in the long run. Just as sure as this man felt comfortable quashing an American citizen and injuring military personnel you can believe behind those closed doors there was a must more dangerous precedence brewing and it would have only been a matter of time anyway.
