Freedom itself seems to be on its last legs. At least the kind of freedom that I was indoctrinated to believe existed. That is the official kind of freedom. The kind that we were taught to believe we needed to elect people who represented us to fight to maintain. The kind of freedom that we we were taught to believe our tax dollars paid for.
No. That kind of freedom is dying. Or perhaps it was just a lie all along.

Freedom for me today is doing what my heart and mind tells me is right and never seeking permission or justification from anyone. Especially anyone who believes they have a right to control me.
Freedom for me today is not believing anything that anyone says unless and until it is proven to me. Especially when it comes from an entity that has proven themselves to be disingenuous for any number of reasons time and time again.

In short. Freedom exists internally. If anyone expects freedom, liberty and truth to become the normal way of life in this world that is controlled by corrupt people using corrupt systems. Then I fear they’re in for a bitter awakening.
