Google’s Firing of James Damore Was Legal, Science Is Now Discrimination
The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has determined that Google did not violate federal labor law when it fired engineer James Damore in August 2017. Damore had already dropped the NLRB complaint to focus on his class action lawsuit against Google for “allegedly” discriminating against white, male, and conservative employees. Stefan Molyneux breaks down the National Labor Relations Board’s absurdly anti-science response and the dangerous precedent that it sets moving forward.

Google: Do As Much Evil As Possible
I just feel it is because of the way the media twisted the story.
That is really a very good beginners manual, I have read them!
It is quite unfortunate that Damore was fired but I want to believe google had genuine reasons for doing so.
Damore acted as an engineer and provided feedback as asked with solid supporting evidence. He didn't expect the irrationality of the human.
He wrote an essay about simple facts related to gender differences in which he mentioned women's and men's advantages and disadvantages when it comes to working somewhere. A couple of women got offended because of it at Google and he got fired. Plus the media twisted the story and he was portrayed as a scumbag all over the internet. While he isn't. Google did not have genuine reasons at all and would deserve a huge fine.
It is pretty simple really, he violated their standards for employee behavior. Regardless of that since California is an at-will employment State they could terminate his employment immediately without cause. As the court ruled the things he said and did were not Federally protected therefore Google's actions were perfectly legal. Indeed as a corporation, they would risk prosecution if they had not acted to protect Google shareholder's interests by firing him.
I'm sure Damore will find no shortage of brogrammer enclave startups in Silicon Valley to hire him and if he is really any good he could do contract work at $200+ an hour. In addition, Google probably did him a favor since I'm sure he has already made a small fortune peddling his tale to the shallow state media and alternative news, although I'm sure that was never their intent.
