To be honest I was expecting something like that to happen like 10 years ago in late nullties/early 2010s.
In between there had been some short 'bans by mistake'.
Since Trump's election mainstream media and deep state have been working hard on shaping the public opinion to accept the idea of banning 'fake news' as well as 'Russian propaganda'.
So considering similar short term bans of RT on youtube some years ago, we can eventually expect youtube banning them for good. Don't forget RT is officially a 'foreign agent' - so at least half of American population(democrats) will be cheering for that to happen...
I also remember ArRai TV(or similar name), a Syrian TV channel which was covering NATO's Arab Spring aggression in Libya before the criminals switched to Syria .
YT banned their channel back then too. However I'm not sure whether it was due to flagging by NATO trolls or due to demands from "special interest groups".
It'll only make our dissenting voices louder. The corrupt system will not prevail, people will come to the realization of the injustice and manipulation and take action by seeking alternative platforms to air their views
