Motion of No Confidence in South African President
Jacob Zuma is the President of South Africa, elected by parliament following his party's victory in the 2009 general election. He was re-elected in the 2014 election. He is facing 783 counts of fraud, corruption and money-laundering.The president is facing motion of no confidence which is to take place on Tuesday the 8th of August 2017.
In what was a surprise move for many, The National Assembly Speaker Baleka Mbete announced in Parliament on Monday that the eighth motion of no confidence in President Jacob Zuma will be through a secret ballot on Tuesday.
It is now a matter of waiting to see if the motion of no confidence will succeed or not.
