That meme you put there is a complete message of its own with deep meaning. Someone may be quick to assume the soldier was very selfless and has passion for donkeys but in the actual sense, it isn't selflessness but "selfishness", Cos he's only trying to survive, and not just to save the donkey :)

Also, notice how the author of this little meme makes the massive leap from wartime to "difficult times" in a single bound. We are not at war.

I was about to say this when I saw the meme. Yeah agreed, we're not at war (literally), even though everything suggests we are.
