I am sure someone has already posted on this but I can hardly stomach reading this stuff.  Encryption gives us freedom, protection and privacy.  Why harm thousands to investigate a few?  This to me comes as a power grab.  While I initially thought the Brexit was the equivalent of voting for Trump if you are an American, I am reconsidering that.  Maybe leaving the EU was a good idea.  I imagine more is to come.
