Why Would An Australian Humanrights Activist Request Support For A Local Party In Tamil Nadu, India

I have come across this interesting video in which an Australian human rights activist is asking the Tamils of Tamil Nadu, India to support and vote for a local political party - Naam Tamilar Katchi.

WHY?

Because Naam Tamilar Katchi is promoting corruption less policies in Indian politics and in particular in Tamil Nadu where corruption is rampant and both ruling and opposition parties buy votes for cash from poor people.

Naam Tamilar Katchi was formed only 10 years ago but they have managed to get more than 10% of the votes in the local election last month competing against all the corrupt and well established parties with huge financial resources. They will get even more votes in the state elections in 2021 with their anti-corruption and eco-friendly policies.
