Trouble in Paradise Pt.1 The Death of Common sense

Over Emphasis on Migrant/minority "issues" destroyed what was referred to as "common sense"(A basic ability to perceive, understand, and judge things that is shared by ("common to") nearly all people and can reasonably be expected of nearly all people without need for debate- Wikipedia). The political left has used this to exasperate racial, and social issues with aims at further weaponizing them against the right and its policy supporters, in an effort to implement extreme post-nationalism. This attack on "common sense" is observed in public as: particular racial groups having a more valid input than others based on victim hood, and the demonizing of traditional values upheld by the majority population.

Recently Iv been reflecting on the political situation in North America, as well as Western Europe, and how the situation we live in came to be. I'm a History nut. Plain and simple. I was raised by my grandparents who both traveled from small villages in Cape Breton Nova Scotia, to Toronto (Canada's largest city) in search of prosperity.

They started off with less in the 40's than what most refugees have in 2017. No government assistance, No Smart Phones, No Internet or TV, No family, Just the desire to fight for the future they felt they deserved. They knew what they needed to do for themselves in order to move up, and regardless of their short comings, they persevered and settled for no less than what they wanted. Which taught me that in broad strokes: the only thing stopping you from what you want is your will to have it. They Carved out the land, Lived off of it, and were thankful for the opportunity to work and have a better life.

(Before I go on, I'm clearly stating for the record that I am a Centrist, simply an individual trying to make sense of what is going on around him, with 0 intention of imposing anything let alone my views on to another person.)

When you compare the attitudes of Prior Generations of Canadians, towards the new ones we are welcoming in, as well as the younger Multi Generational Canadians, there is contrast.

Children in the UK getting to work after the Luftwaffe carpet bombed the crap out of them.

Adult "Syrian" Migrants deciding its easier to start over in the west..

This contrast is a naturally occurring one as different cultures handle matters differently in certain situations. Objectively we have to acknowledge that certain cultures have also surpassed others in quality of life and that is not based on "chance".
That fact that its not chance, diminishes the validity of the lefts claim that Liberal countries are to gain from the alleged benefits of mass migration / multiculturalism, when the migrants never reached the socioeconomic stand point in their country of origin. The only Liberal values that migrants from socially under developed nations understand is that countries that DO have them have extensive net benefit systems in place. Both left and right wing ideology flourishes when the population works together based on the platform of "common sense". In fact, it could be said that you can directly attribute quality of life to how cohesive the population is with one another.

Without Common sense, the ability for us as a society to navigate solutions to problems using hierarchical reasoning is destroyed since the problems of one group cannot come before the other (even though they constantly were for the last 8 years during the Obama administration), and everyone must wait in the "proverbial line" and have their politician elected for their ends to be met, not better end of the country. The Fault lies unfortunately (Believe me when I say I'm Centrist) on the progressive left for this.

Most of the immigration into North America, when speaking on large scale terms, are coming from under developed nations, of whom there people are in one way or another lacking in education (evidently enough so that they cant think their way out of the matter in which they are fleeing) and their personal priorities would probably look quite different from that of someone who has Western / North American "common sense". This is not to say that they are less capable overall, Its to say that perhaps where they originated, instead of perhaps being ambitious and trying to be successful alone, and given the lack of available resources, people collectivize. What becomes scary is when they are out of that environment and live in the west and still think its easier to just collectivize as immigrants, never learn fluent English, and lobby like hell for everything they want afterwards. This is the problem. We have a everlasting, constantly growing low income population, that only appeals to / wants political hand outs. The more that grows, the more people like Obama, are going to sound righteous when implying that taxing the successful people and throwing money around is better than actually using sound judgment and correcting where the problem started , in terms of education and integration. No integration, No common sense.

Its my personal opinion that this contrast is something that is being exploited in what can clearly be seen as an all or nothing attempt by the left in both Canada and USA to try and push what should be the ideological Mainstream. That very same contrast, in my opinion, at its core, is the imbalance between Objective and Subjective thinking.

What we are dealing with in our society now, is a reiteration of what would appear to be history. The Subjective feelings of certain individuals are being put on a pedestal above others in an attempt to form bandwagon arguments / grievances, which are generally weaponized by politicians in attempts to not solve the problem, but obtain votes via promises of solutions. Basically building new constituency groups to appeal directly to by using victim hood as an identifier. The old tactic of Divide and conquer all the while, fraudulently presenting it as progressive.

"A fraud... but how?"

At first glance multiculturalism seems like a good thing, Diverse pool of Ideas and perspectives, when looked at subjectively it seems like how could this be bad? All the good from Other cultures, plus the good in ours means Utopia right?

..... RIGHT?!?!?!

When one goes to apply a more Objective view using data and statistics from the organizations that deal with said diversity, the outcome looks horribly bleak. Instead of everyone benefiting, everyone is losing. Instead of people coming together in agreement, people are turning away in disdain of what is different. But why are we seeing the Progressive left becoming enraged when anything they are implying is looked at objectively?

Why would a group of Voters knowingly overlook policy that benefits them but no one else?
For that reason, It benefits them and they don't care about anyone else.

**In Somalia, Nigeria, Syria etc, I'm sure its Common sense to care only about yourself and nothing else.. Literally to the point of justifying appalling behavior because half way across the world, it might be common sense that if you don't "do this" you probably wont survive or at a minimum will suffer hardship. For no reason does it serve any country at all to allow migrants like this to ghettoize sections of their communities. Why did they come and seek asylum or a better life if there unwilling to reflect on what behaviors brought them here in the first place? **

That life is not even remotely a reality in North America, or has been in the last 100 or so years.

This is what subjective truth does, in fact the idea that the truth is subjective is one hell of a mind game because it really isn't. Reality is based on fact, it is not subjective. The Minute Reality becomes subjective to that degree, you can quite certainly call yourself psychotic.

This is what happens when you preach that Subjective truth, is the only truth. The only thing that's subjective is your opinion and not many people are interested in that.

Its not Liberal young Canadians and Americans who are driving this, in fact its those young kids with big hearts that are being taken advantage of the most. If Any Liberals are watching this whom are 3rd generation (Anyone else wouldn't really understand since your family did not have a comparable experience) You are the victims here if there are any. The liberal values that our countries were able to adopt, were exploited long before you or I could do anything about it. Our parents (the boomers) Got the creme of the crop when it comes to privilege. All of the inherent benefits of generational wealth and its transference through the ages was completely destroyed by over taxation, fraudulent liberalism with aims at moving a very large amount of wealth out of North America, Over immigration from people who's wealth originate in markets that are hardly comparable to ours (either super rich from income disparity or super poor from income disparity), all of this done on the notion that because we had it so good, we could give a bit away out of guilt

... well guess what...

they gave away so much that you would be lucky to buy a house in your home town, get a job that has any security, have an uphill battle to get social benefits even though you and your family have paid into the system for generations, No access to quality healthcare especially in Canada the quality is decreasing as its being exploited by newcomers who never had it, First pick at Government jobs, Relaxed standards for licensing / red tape which may slow domestic workers but fast tracks immigrant labor .... Need I go on more??

Its the politicians speaking out of both sides of their mouth, while they sit on a mountain of tax revenue.

I believe liberal voters have every intention on helping people based on good morals but are being exploited by the lefts leaders based on a fraudulent political narrative that simply aims to generate enough constituents that rely on Big government and regulation just to survive... Hard not to vote Democrat or Liberal if you think in any way they aren't elected, you lose the necessities of life.

Funny thing is they aren't too far off as there are now two forms of common sense. Right wing, and Left wing. The difference is the Left wing version of common sense constantly disparages anyone who thinks differently out of fear of this outcome, and makes people SO reliant on government regulation and benefits that they would have no means to afford to live here without it.Right wing Common sense reflects middle class values. People who are self sufficient and don't require the government other than for the maintenance of their roads, and services such as fire, police, and hospitals.

The lefts (Social/Liberal/Progressive) position in a nutshell: Big government is necessary in order to avoid injustice, Pro immigration and relaxed immigration standards, Inequity is proof of inequality, and any inequity is to be answered with tax and spend racial benefits or short term "solutions".

The rights (Fiscal/Conservative/Traditional) position in a nutshell: Big government and over regulation causes corruption, Pro Immigration reform to rekindle the fallen levels of employment and growth, Inequity can only be solved personally by ambition and work ethic, and that tax dollars are NOT a endless supply of socialist band aids.
