Turkey isn't our ally anymore in any practical sense. They are part of the Russia/Iran/China axis in the region now. And they will continue to pressure the Kurdish/U.S. relationship to its breaking point or we kick them out of NATO, which is also likely.
If Trump gets a deal with NK done it will have spillover effects with Iran and Syria.
The US ,I think,would never lose Centcom and kick Turkey out of the NATO,but they can't let them taking out Kurdish (US) strongholds either,that would further weaken our leverage in the region.Tough....
