Imagine, if you can, the date is September 8th 2016. It's late-summer in the Northern Hemisphere, and absolutely NOBODY CAN RELAX! The US Presidential Election is just starting to reach its peak between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton with the first Presidential Debate looming. Everyone interested in politics is standing on pins and needles, hoping that their preferred major party candidate save the country and world from the dystopian apocalyptic future their opponent will inevitably bring upon us. Would the country be led by an armada of pseudo-nazi-associated "Deplorables", or would AntiFa's pick for President ring in an era of Anarcho-Communist power ruling with a heavy Marxist fist?

And yet there was hope!

The Libertarian Party had a ticket that would be on every ballot in the US, with two former Republican Governors that were popular in Democrat-dominated states. Now here were a pair of gentlemen that wouldn't embarrass our country on Twitter, or sell our nations wealth to the highest bidder! What was the only thing standing in their way to the Presidential Debate stages?

With numbers like this and weeks to go until the first Presidential Debate, it's crunch time for Libertarian Supporters (AKA Trump&Clinton deniers) to put their money where their mouth is. If only people could hear the message! They would leave the Republican and Democratic parties in DROVES!

So what cansomeone who owns approximately 100$ in bitcoin in September of 2016 do? Donate it to the Johnson/Weld campaign of course!!

Yep, you see that correctly. I donated ~.16BTC to a political campaign that blew the whole show over basic geography!

Now, if you haven't been living under a rock for the last year and a half, you'll know that the 2016 Presidential Debates were dominated by bombastic Trump and Clinton pontificated her way to a graceless defeat, and my precious Crypto donation to the ideals of Liberty and Freedom were flushed into the void of lost hopes and dreams. You'll also remember that in December 2017, Bitcoin hit a record value of $20,000/BTC, which is a truly inconceivable value for an imaginary digital currency, even for a WoW veteran. With some basic dimensional analysis and at a current rate of $13440.5/BTC, that measely .160452BTC I had bought for $100 would be worth:

$13440.5/BTC * .160452BTC =$ 2156.55

That's over $2,000 in profit!

That's equivalent to 10 weeks of rent!
