PSA: Counterintelligence is something to be wary of with all these "hacks/leaks" occurring.
This post is just to remind folks that some of the hacks and leaks we are seeing come out are probably counterintelligence operations. This would imply some leaks are disinformation to muddy the waters and limited hangouts so you get caught up in lesser corruption rather than something more serious.
These are some ideas to consider when reading about new intelligence you come across. Seeing people jump on the bandwagon of new intelligence by either completely dismissing it or believing it entirely without corroborating evidence is unnecessary. If you come to understand the workings of intelligence, it can be easier to sift through it all.
