What President Trump Should Have Done Immediately in Response To the FBI's Special Counsel Mueller
So, the FBI has appointed a Special Counsel to investigate POTENTIAL (no evidence) Trump campaign collusion with Russia. GOOD!
The President should have come out smiling, laughing, and praising the FBI for finally doing what is necessary to prove that the Trump campaign collusion with Russia is VERY fake news. The mainstream media (essentially a DNC extension) will try to make this a daily story for months, speculating on all the possible negative outcomes. This was the only opportunity for him to EMBRACE this as a WONDERFUL thing and TAKE CONTROL of our side of the narrative with boldness and force, asserting that it is a relief that we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, where we will arrive at the end of this dark, liberal, fake news fantasy.
He already started to fight against it with tweets, so it gives the liberal media and Congressional Democrats MORE FUEL for their fire. In the end, they will all be embarrassed, no matter what, so it would have been best to take control of the narrative immediately and show the media that they cannot even slow down the President's agenda. He should have said clearly that with "the responsibility of vindicating the President" being in capable hands, hands that all the American people can trust, and in whom supporters of the President can be sure will end this nonsense, NOW the Republican party AND all Democrats and independents willing to move forward with the President can focus on "Making America Great Again"!
He should have warned that all who continue to use this fake news as a weapon against the President or to try to utilize the existence of the investigation to delegitimize and hamper his agenda will face the music (for believing in fake news in fantasies as if it is good politics) when the investigation is over and that the whole entire waste of time and money WILL rest on their shoulders. He should have asserted that WE THE PEOPLE, "of whom the President belongs," will TOGETHER hold EVERY ONE of them accountable for every single dime spent on this wild goose chase and lay the books out for the American people to see how much of their tax dollars the President's enemies foolishly wasted trying to take him down with this false collusion claim with absolutely NO EVIDENCE at all!
The Republican Party could have rallied behind his attitude and decided to fight for the President's agenda behind his leadership. They could have used the President's confidence by embracing it, repeating his message that this helps them to move on and focus on the agenda! The time had to be immediate, not later. He had to have done it himself to have the most impact. He missed a valuable window of opportunity, instead tweeting against it, saying that it divides America.
