RE: Agenda 21, mass culling, etc.

  I agree wholeheartedly agree with Bill Gates and others that reducing our population is not a bad thing. I do not agree that it is the only or even the best way to reduce man's carbon footprint. I think people are smarter than the BIldergroup folk give us credit for. 7.3 billion people DO NOT want life on Earth to end, not just the wealthy 1%ers.  

Bill Gates uses an equation during a speech that says CO2 = Population x Services per person x Energy per service x CO2 per unit of energy, it seems from to the tone of his speech that reducing the population is the solution. I believe that the 1000s of suppressed research programs and patents reveal ways to reduce the CO2 per service. I am also quite sure that we can all learn to reduce the number of services each person needs. 

We do need to change the way we think. Not just the 1% or the 99% but both classes of people. The 1% need to stop looking at the rest of us as either useless eaters or assets while the rest of us need to, “be the change we want in our world.” Being that change means making sustainable choices in diet, transportation, health care and all other areas of life. For me, being that change started with a plant-based diet that leads to the elimination of medication and a better quality of life. 

I am not sure how 99% of a population can win the fight for its survival when the 1% are filled with people that promote the idea it is ok for 80 individuals to own 50% of everything this planet has that can be owned. We let it be this way far too long. Being the change we want to see in our world means not owning the world but instead, it means being good stewards of the Earth. 

So much of the world I live in seems wasteful. Capitalism seems to have some good points but in the end, I think it is wasteful and only serves the few at the top of the heap.The number of resources spent gaining market share, or promoting products and services, seems to drive up expenses. Often, poor employee compensation, low-quality materials and other (sometimes dangerous) cost savings measures are used to help maintain competitive pricing. 

In the next few years, we are likely to see an escalation of environmental repercussions. In fact, it is almost assured that storms will worsen, droughts will get worse, and that wars and rumours of wars will increase. What is not assured is how YOU AND I will change our individual environmental impact. If YOU not eating animal products would make even a small difference in sustaining our 7.3 billion population, would you be willing to change your diet? If reducing our population BY CHOICE would ensure we could keep our lovely Earth 100 more generations would you reconsider having a lot of children? 

It may be too late in the eyes of the few that own the most. I see things that alarm me all the time. I believe there may really be a group that feels I am a worthless eater and they want me gone. I say EMBRACE the positive change you can bring t to this world and RESIST the change forced on us. Let’s see if we can avoid the FEMA camps and mass culling. 

NOTE: As I was proofreading this, it occurred to me how much of us and them type of post this is. This really reflects the same mentality as homophobia and racism or other forms of bigotry. A hatred of the “them” is never healthy for the “us”. Even if “they” really intend some population control as hideous as it seems they might, the “us” should always be willing to forgive the repentant. Keep as pure of a heart as you can.
