Running first Campaign for Public Office on Steemit
I have officially announced my candidacy for the District 1 City Council Position in Seattle. I will be running this campaign through my blog posts here on Steemit, and the funds raised here will also go to my campaign. The election isn't for another 2 years, and will be running a true grass roots campaign. I will be posting my position on current events, but more specially on political issues that I can actually do something about in my position on the City Council. Awesome! I encourage everyone to get involved. What are your three main issues and what is your motivation. As a grass roots candidate myself, nobody expected me to get elected.

I do as well! People need to get more involved and understand the political process and what is going on.
I am running and an Independent/Libertarian philosophy. Working to get my key points out there now.
