Assange gets Ecuador citizenship but London refuses to let him go

Ecuador gave citizenship to founder of WikiLeaks Julian Assange who lived for past 5 years in their embassy in London. Assange became citizen of Ecuador on December 12 of 2017. Ecuador demanded that Assange was treated as diplomat so he could leave embassy and not be arrested. It was rejected and Ecuador government withdrawed their demand in fear that their relations with Great Britain wont be affected.
