How politics has left us polarized

Is it me or has everyone noticed that politics of today has kept us polarized. We do more of fighting on social media platforms and on the streets than actually doing something meaningful to the betterment of the community. We forget that when we fight and tear each other down nobody is moving forward. We obviously may not agree on everything, that is an established fact, but we must agree on a thing or two. Let us work on that, let us work on what we agree on , let us make progress. On that which we don't agree on , let there be a compromise.

The success of one is the success of all, politics is a win and loose situation. Today your idea wins and tomorrow it may not. Now that does not make it invalid, that does not make it of less importance. What do you do when you loose, you go back to the drawing board and you ask yourself where did I go wrong? what do I need to do?

If we devote the time we use to tear each other down to actually coming together and working together, I really do think things will get done.
