Kenya's supreme court being the first court in the world to nullify 2017 presidential results
Kenya being a third world country, has proven to the world that they are operating under a constitution and therefore a fews days before, it nullified the presidential results because the body conducting the whole process was said to have some irregularities.
The ruling was pronounced by unapologetic Chief Justice Maraga who wasn't afraid of the Jubilee Party(The party that got their winning cancelled)
What I mean is that Jubilee party has got a history of rigging the electoral results back in 2013 and had similar plans this year but they were not too smart this time round.
After the verdict from the court which demanded that they were to go for a re-run after 60 days as per the constitution, the two top politicias are back to their campaigns.
This man Raila Odinga has been rigged out of power since 2007. He had filed a petition back in 2013 elections where he was still rigged out by the Jubilee party but the case was thrown away.
He swore that Uhuru Kenyatta will not go against the will of the people by stealing their votes. He denied the kind of dictatorship that was being bulit here in Kenya. Uhuru Kenyatta,
of the Jubilee Party was furious today after the court ruling saying that he did not agree with the court ruling but he respected that. He further said that after the re-run, he will revisit the Judiciary saying that there is a problem with it. That clearly showed that he will fire the Chief Justice if he wins the elections again come November. On the other hand the Chief Justice claimed that he has never taken ribe and he will never take a bribe. It is said that the party had wanted to bribe him with billions of Kenyan shillings but he declined. These two top politicians have been great enemies in the game of politics. The history of their fathers was similar to theirs. In short, history is repeating itself from back then when Kenya had gained Independence back in 1963.
Raila's father,
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga and Uhurus father,
Mzee Jomo Kenyatta too fought for power back then.
Kenyans are waiting for the fresh elections in November to determine thier leader.
