Deep State
What is the Deepstate? Does it really exist?
Let's look at the evidence. Where should we start? The Civil War perhaps. Common knowledge says that the Civil War was fought over slavery, but differing opinions exist. Others think it was for States Rights and there are those who say it was over economics. I don't know but the old saying goes 'follow the money'.
Years later, after the Civil War, the Banana Wars, and a lot of other wars, Major General Smedley Butler became involved in 'The Business Plot' which
" was a political conspiracy in 1933 in the United States to overthrow the government of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and install a dictator. Retired Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler asserted that wealthy businessmen were plotting to create a fascist veterans' organization with Butler as its leader and use it in a coup d'état to overthrow Roosevelt. In 1934, Butler testified under oath before the United States House of Representatives Special Committee on Un-American Activities on these revelations. Although no one was prosecuted, the congressional committee final report said, "there is no question that these attempts were discussed, were planned, and might have been placed in execution when and if the financial backers deemed it expedient."
After he retired he wrote a book entitled "War is a Racket" Like I said earlier 'follow the money'

Years later, in his farewell speech, out going president Dwight D. Eisenhower said "Beware of the Military Industrial Complex."
Is a pattern emerging?
Fast forward to the reign-of-error of Barack Obama who came out of nowhere and was elected President of the United States in 2009. His real name is Barry Soetoro. According to what I've read Barry's first experience in politics was when he was a 'community organizer' (what ever that is), then a state senator, then a U.S. Senator from Illinois before he was elected President. Color me skeptical but to me it appeared that 'the fix was in'. How could he have had time to do any work when he was always campaigning for the next higher office?
I always thought that there was something odd about him, conspiracy theories aside. When giving speeches he was totally lost without his teleprompter. It appeared to me that he couldn't think for himself. He appeared to be a puppet. Who was pulling his strings? Something else that I noticed was the behavior of the media. They fawned on him. I often wondered if at the end of the day he had to wipe all the slobber off. The only major news outlet that did fall to their knees and....er....I mean...Fox news was critical of him.
He hated that.
At the end of his regime something odd happened.
Due to term limits he wasn't allowed to run for a third term so Hilliary Clinton did. I never like 'the Hildebeast'. My late wife, back in the eighties, said 'that's an evil woman' due to the articles that Hillary wrote in various 'Women's Magazines' at the time. During the Clinton Administration that proved to be true, it became evident that she is truly evil. I didn't like her.
Apparently I wasn't the only one who didn't like her. Some called her the 'most hated woman in the United States.'
If no one liked her then how could she get enough votes to win the election? The Republicans had a total of seventeen candidates for their primaries in 2016, none of which the Hildebeast had a chance against.
Except one.
Donald Trump had zero experience in Politics. He was a media personality and a businessman but he had never held an elected office. Surely a seasoned politician could win against someone who was so inexperienced. He was the perfect candidate to run against the Hildebeast in the general election.
At the time everyone liked Donald Trump, including the media. During the primaries "The Donald" could do no wrong. In fact one day he commented on it. He seemed rather puzzled when he said something to the effect that he could 'shoot someone' and his supporters would still vote for him.
All that changed when he won the primary. Suddenly, literally overnight, the media didn't like him anymore. Before he won the primary he could do no wrong. After he won it he could do no right. The media put the hammer down, to better help the Hildebeast win the general election?
So they thought. Oddly enough he won. Then the insurrection began.
Multiple studies stated that ninety percent of all mention of President Trump in the media was negative. Hollyweird was totally against him and so were all of the talk shows. The media (except for Fox News) hammered on him 24/7. It was almost like they were reading from the same script.
There were also demonstrations and all manner of nonsense, remember the 'pussy march' and the 'night of the primal scream?" The insurrection continued.
The first two years of his administration the Republicans were in control of the House as well as the Senate. It seemed perfect. The Republicans should be able to do what they had been promising to do forever. It didn't work out that way. The Rinos (republicans in name only) lent new meaning to the term 'passive aggressive'. They agreed with Trump's agenda publicly, but somehow nothing ever got done. This went on until the midterms.
The democrats won the House and the 'investigations'. President Trump was impeached THREE TIMES, and all time record in the History of the US. (the Senate didn't convict). One time he was impeached over a phone call. A guy knew a guy who over heard a guy say something about something that the President said. Of course that was an impeachable offense.
Then the riots began. All across the land, cities burned. The damage was in the billions of dollars and hundreds of lives were lost.
Odd thing. Even though President Trump was 'rowing against the tide' each and every eighteen hour workday, 24/7, of his administration he still got more done than any president in history. The economy boomed. Unemployment and inflation were effectively zero. Prices were low. To misquote Al Gore "Things that should be up, are up. Things that should be down, are down." Those four years were the best four years, economically speaking, of most people who were alive at the time.
Then along came Covid-19. At first the World Health Organization said it was nothing to worry about. It was a mutation of the Coronavirus which caused the common cold. Oddly enough they changed their tune shortly thereafter. It was almost like it was the perfect weapon to remove President Trump from office.
Then the election rolled around. Almost all republicans won, except for Donald Trump who lost, or so they say. Don't pay any attention to those people behind the curtain who were stuffing ballot boxes.
I watched the vote count in real time. At 3 A.M., Texas time, Trump was ahead. It appeared to me that Trump would win by a landslide. That is until several states shut down the counting. When the counting resumed several hours later, Trump was behind. Odd thing was that some of the voting precincts, all of which went for Biden, had more votes than they had voters. Wonder how that happened.
Those are the facts, the short version. The long version would fill libraries.
