VIDEO: A Year In Review: Democracy Betrayed By Democrats, Not Russia
This is a video of myself reading Disobedient Media's article by the same name, which I wrote myself on Disobedient Media, then posted here on Steemit.
Both this video and the article it is based on are my original IP.

Finally, to anyone that would rather me post this video via D.tube: I would, and I will, as soon as D.tube recognizes my username as existing. Until it does I cannot utilize D.tube and am forced to use Youtube.
Thanks everyone in this lovely community for your support while I learn the ropes here! There is a lot to learn.
The entire 2016 election really opened my eyes. I never really paid attention because I was one of those people who thought we lived in a free, democratic country. I was blown away when I saw what went on. Needless to say, I don't subscribe to the right or the left anymore. It's one big fake drama to keep us distracted, and the Russia narrative is to keep us scared and continue our compliance in the theft of our money for the MIC.
Agreed!
I've been a registered Independent my whole voting life; this last election, I had to switch to Democrat to try and support Bernie Sanders in the primaries, just to find out later that he wasn't even being supported by the Democratic caucus in my county. This past 2016 presidential election was a huge disappointment for me, in every possible way.
Agreed on all counts! I would describe myself as an anti-establishment independent who leans Green and voted Bernie/Stein but liked Ron Paul back in the day re: war and the Fed. Almost as long as the names they use in Starbucks, yeesh.
Hi,
I don't know what to consider myself anymore, except for disenfranchised right now...
Mostly, I guess, I follow the Transhumanist philosophy and Zeitgeist movements (if you could call them that).
I see a lot of changes happening throughout governments soon because of the increasing automation of production and service work, the emerging reliance on artificial intelligence to sift through mass surveillance and consumer data, and the need for a Universal Basic Income to support the people that are being displaced from this continuing progress.
I think some solutions are already presenting themselves, particularly with the concept of "the blockchain" and cryptocurrencies changing the economic platform of how transactions are processed and completed. This is a step towards UBI, and a step away from the servitude to debt from banks and corporations.
I also think most governments are resistant to change and prefer the status quo. I don't know what comes next or how, so I guess I will consider myself an optimistic-cynic. I look forward to an incredible future of scientific progress and discovery... However, I feel that the majority of governments, and people, are not as open minded as they pretend to be, and will spite humanity just to better themselves...
Sorry for the rant, and thank you for posting things for me to think about and consider.
Keep it up!
Glad to have you here!! Keep speaking the truth!
Thank you very much!
Nice
Thanks!
