Imagine "earning" $5,000 a month in pension and having the state of Illinois come to you and say, "Hey, we're broke. Now you only get $1,500 a month...." - what's really going to happen? The FEDs will jump in, bail them out and the value of the USD will continue to depreciate.
Bingo. Thats exactly what will happen. Great time to load up on cheap silver and cheap crypto. Anything to hedge against our worthless dollar.
The rampant corruption in Illinois is both government and public employees. I have witnessed this for over 30 years. It will not recover. This is just the beginning
Its tragic that so many have to deal with the actions of a few. So many baby boomers, like my parents, on the edge of retirement. Can only imagine how many families are contemplating what their futures are going to look like now.
