The Mental Gymnastics that Republicans go through

I honestly don't get it!

I just don't. Here we are today as a country with a guy like Roy Moore on the ballot. I admit i had never heard of him before his name was thrust into the national spotlight for being the kind of guy you warn your daughters about.

The more and more i learned about about him the worse it got.

I'm not here to go over his MANY allegations of sexual misconduct, nor his affinity for removing all amendments to the constitution after the 10th (That would essentially make people slaves and nearly everyone who isn't a white male ineligible to vote). What i'm here for is to discuss the absolute mental gymnastics republicans in Alabama go through to swallow this man's presence.

Statements to questions like is he a good Christian answered with "Absolutely). "The women are all being paid". I can't even get into passive aggressiveness against the other candidate. HOW DID WE GET HERE
