A very interesting synchronicity (which tells me to pay attention closely) - I have been studying German for about a year now, listening to about 45 minutes of it most days (when I walk our dog). I have no sense of my own ability with the language, I suspect it is dreadful and I am several years away from even writing this reply in German, never mind an article with complexities, but I will certainly work towards it.
