Are you aware of how bills are legislated?

-Many US citizens don't vote, and many of those whom do don't necessarily know what legislators do once voted into office.

The issue with understanding new legislation..

-Most US bills are longer than the last book many of us have read.
Reading a US bill thoroughly and being able to decide on your stance would be sort of like reading the entire Bible and proclaiming your self an expert on the subject in just a few weeks. Most if not all legislators will have legal aids read the articles for them and create notes and summaries, which our representatives read and cast their vote based upon.

The issue beyond the complexity of bills..

-Beyond the complex nature of most legislative processing, the majority of the constituents are at the mercy of the representatives they elect in the sense that they must not only assume the representative has a full grasp of the bill for him/herself but that he/she understands the will of their constituents.

One Libertarian has plans to change the game!

-Libertarian Candidate Texas State House for district 4, Allen Miller has proposed the idea of establishing an app within his community to allow voters to interact with the proposed bill and cast their "vote" on the bill. This would allow legislators to understand the will of their constituents on specific issues. This might just be the perfect tool to bring transparency to US legislation and expose legislators working against the interest of their constituents.
