LOL. I guess you were intending to put that comment in a different posting, and somehow ended up in here.......

It was late and I was sleepy. Whether or not government is necessary or desirable at all is a very abstract question that I haven't studied. The traditional libertarian assumption is that some minimum government is necessary, and I'm taking that idea for granted. I could be wrong, but the question is not central to my position. I'm arguing that governments today are exploited by some special interests (what I call the Shame Lobby), and possibly even hostage to those special interests. I don't mean to insult alternative views of libertarianism.

I tend to take the position of: Cops, Courts and Clerks. Nothing else from a government is necessary... or even remotely desirable. But anarchism is "all the rage" of the millenials espousing libertarianism. They make a good case for any government being a cancer, once allowed to flourish, will devour its host.

both sides need to build prototype villages, towns, small cities or counties and SHOW US the other side is wrong... and certainly the Democrats (commie socialists) and Republicans fascist socialists) are seriously wrong.

Have you seen this audio book?
Adam Kokesh's "Freedom!" Give it at least until the 8:05 mark to decide whether it's worth it to continue, or trash it. Let me know your appraisal. Thanks.

"Government is so good it has to be forced on us." Well said.
