Veterans PTSD may not be PTSD after all - VA failing our heroes - new scans and treatment.
Patriot Clinics are helping our vets where the VA is failing them.
Note: I am in no way affiliated with them - I heard an interview on the radio and did some digging. Even if you don't upvote, please share with a veteran you know. They may be doing just fine, they may have a comrade who is not.
Patriot Clinics realized that the VA was over diagnosing PTSD, giving or vets some medication that basically made them not care and sent them on their way. More in depth brain scans found that a large portion of what the VA was calling PTSD was really concussive brain injury from repetitive gunfire, IED blasts and other massive / repeating impacts.
They use the highest detailed CT and MRI scanning to test if the condition is indeed concussive brain injury and "provide hyperbaric oxygen treatment without charge to individuals and other effective therapies at little to no cost to our patients so they can return to productive lives."
