When will canada withdraw from war?
My friend the other day, said. Man. I am going to join the army.
I said to him, why the hell would you do that?
He said, well to defend our country, of course!
Hah! I said. The only thing you are defending are political interests, when was the last time we had a war that was about defening OUR country? I would say its been a long damned time.
He went completely silent, then said yeah, maybe your right, our foreign policy is outrageously fucked.
WHY are we still "peacekeeping" in the middle east?
WHY are we still supporting the USA in provoking unnecessary wars?
WHY don't our leaders represent us the PEOPLE, in helping alleviate wars and disasters, instead of creating them, and then bringing the problems home with us (mad jihadis who want revenge)
